IN BRIEF
Seton Hill University, the region's leading coeducational Catholic
liberal arts university, brings the world to students by distinguished
national and international centers, and undergraduate and graduate
programs, including an MBA. HOUSING
First-year students reside in double occupancy rooms. Single rooms
are available to upperclass students. Residence halls are equipped
with in-room computer accessibility, telephones, kitchen facilities,
key card access, TVs and VCRs, irons and ironing boards, and vacuum
cleaners. ACTIVITIES
The Office of Activities and Commuter Life plans student activities
and programming. Activities include social and cultural events and
planned as well as spontaneous programming. A wide variety of activities
are offered in order to meet the diverse interest of SHU students.
Popular activities include trips to points of interest such as Pittsburgh,
Washington, D.C., and New York City; dances on and off campus; skiing
trips; intramurals; Halloween events; entertainers on campus; trips
to hockey games and the ballet; picnics and many others.
SPORTS
SHU belongs to the American Mideast Conference of the NAIA. Athletic
teams available to women include: basketball, cross country, equestrian,
field hockey, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball.

country, equestrian, golf, soccer, tennis.
Athletic scholarships are available.
PROGRAMS OF STUDY
Graduate students choose from 7 master's programs: art therapy, special
education, elementary education, business administration, marriage
and family therapy, writing popular fiction, and technologies enhanced
learning.
Undergraduates choose from over 30 areas of study including the sciences,
physician assistant, business, education, and visual and performing
arts. The Adult Degree Program offers undergraduate majors on Saturdays
and evenings in accounting, business, corporate communication, and
human services. VISIT
INFORMATION
Seton Hill welcomes you and interested family members at any
time. Simply call the Admissions Office or email them to arrange an
appointment. A visit to Seton Hill's campus includes an Admissions
interview, financial aid meeting and campus tour. Their faculty and
students are always willing to meet with prospective students. If
you would like to meet with a professor or student in your interest
area let them know when you schedule, and it can be arranged. Sleepover
events are offered five times per year. Open Houses are offered twice
per year. Physician Assistant information sessions are offered five
times per year.

1) From the West

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 76) east to
new Exit 67/ old Exit 7 (Irwin) |

Follow Rt. 30 east approximately 8
miles. |

At the fifth traffic light, turn left onto Bell
Way. |

Go one block to the next traffic light and continue
straight onto College Avenue through the tunnel. |

Take the Parkway (Rt. 76) and travel east. |

Take Rt. 79 south to Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt.
76). Travel east to new Exit 67/ old Exit 7 (Irwin). Then, follow

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 76) west to
new Exit 75/ old Exit 8 (New Stanton). |

Then, follow Rt. 119 north to the
Rt. 66 north exit. (Toll is $1). |

Travel north and take Exit 5 (Greensburg/Jeannette,
Rt. 130). |

At the end of the exit, make a right onto Rt.
130 east. |

After approximately 2 miles, the University's
entrance is on the right. |
