HOUSING
All four of La Roche's residence halls are fully furnished. Air-conditioning, free laundry facilities, refrigerators, private phones and cable TV are included. Three of the residence halls feature apartment-style suites.

ACTIVITIES
Campus clubs and organizations give students an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including athletics, social clubs, academic societies and student chapters of professional associations.

SPORTS
There are 10 Division III athletic teams at La Roche College, and all are gaining prominence in both the NCAA and the AMCC (Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference). Varsity sports for men are: Basketball, baseball, cross-country, golf and soccer. For women, the college offers basketball, cross-country, soccer, softball and volleyball. In addition to these teams, La Roche also offers club and intramural sports for students.

PROGRAMS OF STUDY
La Roche College offers more than 50 academic majors and 20 minors. Our contemporary academic program gives you the freedom to explore the timely careers that most intrigue you. The La Roche education empowers men and women to be lifelong learners and to achieve success in their chosen careers.

La Roche College awards the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in two academic schools, the School of Arts & Sciences and the School of the Professions. In the School of Arts & Sciences, majors include: Athletic training (2:2 program with Duquesne University), biology (B.A. and B.S.), Biology Education, Biology/Forensic Science, Chemistry, Chemistry Education, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering (3:2 program with University of Pittsburgh), Chemistry/Forensic Science, Chemistry/Material Sciences Engineering (3:2 program with University of Pittsburgh), Communication, Media Technology, Comprehensive Chemistry, Computer Science, History, Human Services, International Studies, Liberal Studies, Mathematics, Mathematics/Industrial Engineering, Occupational Therapy (3:2 program with Duquesne University), Performing Arts/Dance, Performing Arts/Pedagogy, Physical Therapy (3:3 program with Duquesne University), Physician Assistant (2:3 program with Duquesne University), and Psychology.

Majors in the School of the Professions include: Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Elementary Education, Facility Management, Finance, Graphic and Communication Design, Information Technology, Interior Design, International Management, Management, and Marketing.

VISIT INFORMATION
Personal Visit
This type of visit requires an individual appointment with the Office of Admissions. (Please book your appointment at least 2 days in advance. Personal visits can be scheduled Monday- Friday @ 10:00 am or 2:00 pm) During your appointment, you will receive an information packet about La Roche College, tour the campus with a Student Ambassador and meet with an Admissions Counselor to discuss academics, admissions and financial aid.

Saturdays
The Office of Admissions is open for personal visits on the first Saturday of each month, September - May. You must schedule an appointment at least 2 days in advance.

Open House
These events usually occur on selected Saturdays throughout the year. During an Open House, you will receive an information packet about La Roche College, tour the campus with a Student Ambassador, attend an Admissions/Financial Aid information session and participate in a Question & Answer session.

Campus Visit Day & Night
This is the most extensive of all visit programs that La Roche College offers. The visit begins on a Sunday afternoon with a tour of the campus, an academic information session with a faculty member, an Admissions/Financial Aid session and a Question & Answer session. After the day session, you have the option to spend the night in the residence halls, hosted by a La Roche College student and to attend a class on Monday morning. Classes are selected by the Admissions staff based on your academic interest. (Please register for Campus Visit Day & Night programs at least 5 days in advance.)

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPUS
La Roche College is located just 15 minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh and offers convenient access to both I-79 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. On the La Roche campus, students are within minutes of malls, restaurants, parks and theatres.

From Downtown Pittsburgh
Take I-279 to Exit 11/McKnight Road (old Exit 18). Travel on McKnight Road for about 6 miles until the stoplight at the intersection of McKnight Road and Cumberland Road. Turn right onto Cumberland Road and follow it to the next stoplight where it intersects with Babcock Boulevard. Take a right at the stoplight onto Babcock Boulevard. Make the second left onto the La Roche College Campus.

From the PA Turnpike
Take Exit 3-28 to Route 19 South. Travel on Route 19 for approximately five miles and follow the exit to McKnight Road. Follow McKnight Road to the stoplight at the intersection of Cumberland Road and McKnight Road. At the intersection, take a left onto Cumberland Road. Follow Cumberland Road to the next stoplight where it intersects with Babcock Boulevard. Take a right at the stoplight onto Babcock Boulevard. Make the second left onto the La Roche College Campus.

From I-79
Take the Mars/Cranberry Exit 78. Off the exit ramp, follow the signs to Route 19 South. Travel on Route 19 for approximately 5 miles and follow the exit to McKnight Road. Follow McKnight Road to the stoplight at the intersection of Cumberland Road. At the intersection, take a left onto Cumberland Road. Follow Cumberland Road to the next stoplight where it intersects with Babcock Boulevard. Take a right at the stoplight onto Babcock Boulevard. Make the second left onto the La Roche College campus.
