Create an Itinerary
Budgeting your time is critical. To make the most of your visit, be sure to do your homework before you arrive. First of all, determine where your chosen schools are in relation to one another, and how long it takes to get from campus to campus. Allot at least one half day for each school you're interested in. Next, plot your itinerary and then call the admissions offices to schedule your visit. Finally, make sure you build in time to get a feel for Southwestern PA. In the end, exploring what's off campus is just as important as any campus tour.

Plan Ahead
Investigate school activities prior to arriving so you can take part. If you want a realistic picture of campus life, avoid spring and winter breaks and final exam dates. Although summer is a great time to build the campus visit into a family vacation, campuses are only at half-mast.
